Although I dont have interest in buying the blade 550..it looks good and is reasonable priced for either kit or combo.. it seems better deal then the 500..

Still no match for SAB Goblin or Mikado, not even close. Just some real aluminum parts in the box rather than so-called "hop-up" purchases later...

LOL I don't think anyone expected a Mikado or SAB contender. I believe they are targeting the Align market and it looks like they might provide that competition.

100% getting after Align! I guess with all the $$ behind their marketing one amy get sucked in and think the heli (now proven to be 550X) is beyond Align and really high end. So consider it my 1st step in the dog poop with their hype.

That's like saying to someone who just bought a nice, new Nissan that it's still no match for a Ferrari! In other words, it's ludicrous! What do you get from SAB for $1000? Oh, that's right, you get the requirement to spend another thousand + to get it in the air. Just can't please some people!

I was considering the 500X but I will skipping that step. I figured they were holding the 500X back for this announcement. Now people can choose if they want to wait a couple of months. February gives me enough time to build it and test it before the flying season.

Finally a "teaser" campaign that yielded a pretty decent looking product. Looks like a pretty decent kit. The 130A ESC caught my eye, as well as the motor its paired with. This thing might be a T-Rex killer for sure, especially if they keep the weight down. I'm not crazy about the canopy color combo, but that's an easy fix via Fusuno.

Keep in mind-- this also opens the door up to Futaba guys who can use whatever FBL they want.

Given that this is described as part of a "series" it's not unreasonable to think there is more to come, perhaps a 450X v2, a 600X and 700X, all in kit form, all similar in construction.
