The new Walkera G400 with GPS

Just been on the Walkera URL and found this - http://www.walkera.com/en/showgoods.php?id=2546

Looks like the old V400D02 equipped with GPS for 'altitude hold'.

Can't find any info' on it, but it looks like it uses the same frames, boom, skids, etc'... as the old V400D02.

From what I can gather, it looks like the RTH feature is some form of bail out.

Banggood are now hosting them for sale.

Can't see them being an 'Hot seller' at this price though - twice the price of the old V400..... Http://www.banggood.com/Walkera-G400...7-p-89151.html

Walkera G400 Parts List

Just look on the parts list, some parts are compatible with V400D02 and V450D03. But most likely to be V400D02.

Walkera G400 BNF for USD 299.99 is attractive price.

I still think it's overpriced at $300, bearing in mind it will probably need new Servos right from the box, B/L Main and Tail to prevent it from dropping out of the sky after 10 flights, Doubled upper frame, and a few other things to make it a little more robust and airworthy.
I just would not trust this thing straight out of the box, and I predict that there are going to be a good few scary accidents with it.

So why would this helicopter be fun with the GPS? Boy those Chinese are coming out with advanced technology at affortable prices.

There are the odd video clips cropping up on Youtube now, and a Guy over on RCG has just got one of these.

If current activity here and over there is anything to go by, I don't think this model is going to be a top seller.
