Lol, no I think it's just the angle that it's at, you can't see the boom enter the frame, the canopy has it blocked a bit so it just looks stumpy to me. If it's actually longer that's even better . Good call on pinning the boom like that, but if you didn't cut the notch into the boom, did you cut the part it fits over out of the frame? Or did you just not insert it as far into the frame?

I did NOT put it all the way into the frame. its REALLY tough still so I dont think its an issue. its less than a 1/4"

Yeppers. the weather is blowing here so I only got it in the air for a few seconds, but so far I LOVE it no more annoying buzz. and it seems way more solid!

Kept most of the stock electronics and servos too? I know that was great finally getting the tail to hold consistently for me, hope your experience is as good!

Back from the dead...forgot how much a subtle and very minor bend in the FS can wreak havoc on this bastard's tail...

...hopefully I can keep her alive until the HK250 kit arrives.

I'm still getting some wag. got ch5 set to 12:15 and its till wagging. I ordered some of that gel sticky tape to mount the gyro on maybe that will help out. if not time to upgrade the gyro

I am still way happy with the results.. the big thing that annoying buzz is gone. and SOOOO much smoother.

Sometimes wagging is because of some binding tail push rod parts. Make sure the pitch slider moves super smooth and the push rod isn't hanging up or bending and that the grips turn really freely.

I'll give that a try. the "support" that came with it seemed a little tight, I removed that.. Let me see what happens

i have the same Extreme Plastics, just in orange, and i have the 400 skids too. but i have the belt tail as well. the Freestyle-hobby.com tail pack is pretty sweet. tho i am having a issue with my TX, so i haven't got a chance to 3D the belt yet... sad story. ill get pics up once i get my custom canopy in. and Scruby, move those flyweights in too. it helps.
