Default B-400 head on HBKII?

Will the head from a Blade 400 fit and work on a HBKII? I have one and I'd like to try and get it up and flying again and I was wondering if this switch would work.

Thanks

It probably does since the main gear fits right on there.
check the size of the main shaft make sure there the same length first.
also the B4oo swash goes down for lift, and the bkh2 goes up.
you will need to reverse the swash movement
but it could probably be done.
I got a TREX 450 head on my B400. so anything is possible.

And I have a Trex 450 V2 head on my King2, so I'm sure it fits. If you dont mind me saying it, why not just go for an align or align clone head. WAY better than any B400 head.

The reason I wanna use the Blade-400 head is bacause I already have a spare. And the HBKII head is damaged.

If you are using the stock radio and change to a leading edge blade control, it probably will not work. There is no way to change the swash control with the stock radio. If you are using a computer radio, then you can configure the swash settings.

An alternative is to convert the leading edge control to a trailing edge control by flipping the blade grips and reversing the linkage.

Those of you who have put a TREX v2 head on the king 2. Are there any instructions/details anywhere on how to do it? Im thinking of putting a CopterX 450 v2 head on mine. Can you do it without any drilling/cutting of main shafts?

probably not the trex head main shaft is smaller then the HKB2.
so you will need to cut it in order for it to fit also the linkage balls are bigger
you will also have to use the swash from the HKB2 and change out the linkage
balls to the trex ones. good thing is they both go up for lift so you dont have to move any settings on radio if your using stock radio.
in order to use the swash from the trex I would take apart the swash and exchange them. im talking about the inside swash, use the outer part from the HKB2
and put that on the trex one.
