well bro there really aren't any real upgrades other than the glow in the dark parts. you can mod your charger, and that's about it. this heli is really designed to get newbies into the hobby, and learn hovering orientation, so when you get your first collective pitch (single rotor) heli you will know the stick movements already. you will be learning to fly all over again. a single rotor heli flies totally different than a coaxial heli. it's a blast i love mine, and have found that i fly it more than my cx2, and trex.

believe me if there were no coaxial helis i'd bet 80% of the newbies would quit trying to fly a heli.

oh wait there is a kind of upgrade. looking at the tail turn in the ball link 1 turn at a time for more forward speed. also wiggle the landing gear off, and put 1 spare o ring on the pin, and reinstall the landing gear.

hope you are having as much fun with yours as i am with mine

That's right, other than that, there is no "Whisper Mode" (aka: Blue Thunder).

No "After Fan", a joke used by A-10, C-130 pilots, smartin' off to jet jocks who have afterburners.

No FLIR, movie camera, still camera to carry aloft.

I can take the mCX to C.A.P. meetings and cadets are successfully flying it on the first try.

that will make this hobby grow. witch it really needs. most pilots seem to be in there late 30's on up. we also need more clubs with peeps willing to help teach. the problem with more clubs is finding a indoor flying field. i'm going to look into the local adult education school locally. it's in a ex school with a gym in it. if it's not too expansive maybe i can get others interested. would it be the AMA for insurance?

If they would have had them when I was in C.A.P. in 1970 I would have not probably been gigged so much as I was kinda bored during ground school. Thanks for the memories!
