High voltage with Futaba recievers
Has anyone used either the 617FS or 6014HS recievers directly powered from a two cell lipo battery. I've been using the little three channel Futaba recievers lately that are speced to run 7.4 volts and was ready to run some high voltage servos with a two cell lipo reciever pack on a non FBL setup. I remembered to check the reciever voltage range on the above two recievers and Futaba says to use between 4.8 and 6.0 volts for both. Hate to blow either reciever from overvoltage, hate ever more to wipe out an airframe.

Hi,
I have been using 2 cell lipos on those receivers for years. Bax from hobby services has confirmed that as well. Doug Last edited by dvelez3; 05-23-2015 at 10:08 AM.. |
