DX8 Up and Running Wireless

Been looking around at different options for using a real transmitter with Realflight for a little bit and came across a couple of threads that gave me an idea of how to do it. Waited patiently for a great deal on a DX8 because I did not want to use my DX18 for the sim, besides I can buddy box someone now that I have an DX8 also. The really great thing is I can put my DX18 switch locations on the DX8 so sim becomes exactly like real life.
Came across a couple of options for a DSM2 receiver that would output a PPM signal and another thread on connecting a Jeti receiver to the Interlink Elite controller (my cyclic stick is getting pretty worn out). Wiring up to the Interlink was super easy, soldering to this mini receiver was a total pain in the you know what. I would recommend the other receiver option that has a servo PPM output connection, it is also eight channels instead of seven like the mini.
Using a real transmitter with Realflight is so much better than utilizing the Interlink Elite, control is so much finer and smoother. Many thanks to the guys that pioneered this stuff before me.
