Default Can you paint carbon fiber...

...successfully?

I want to paint my vertical 3d fin. Can I just roughen it up a bit, prime it, and then paint it like anything else?

Or do I need to go throught some insane process of preperation?

Thanks

Hmm I was thinking about just that today when looking at mine. I bet if you roughened it up a bit then shot it, it should turn out alright!

I painted the fins on my Fury and they turned out fine. Just wet sand with some 320 then 400 sandpaper, prime then paint.
