Hi all,

I've got a Futaba 401 gyro and whenever I first turn the heli on the led flashes slowly and doesn't go into HH lock. If I turn the heli off then on again all is well. Any ideas as to why it does this?

what radio are you using? if specturm maybe the rx is not booting up fast enough the first time?

It's a Spektrum AR6200 RX and DX6i TX.

I'm using a Futaba 6EX and it does the same thing somethimes. It's probably what Epoweredrc said that the tx doesn't boot up as fast all the time.

Not sure what you mean about TX booting up. My TX is on about 30 seconds to a minute before the heli.

Yeah I'm not sure but mine does it once and while and if I shut the heli off then on again it's OK. the gyro initializes.
