Here's a few pics of my Thunderbird 90, just finished it last week and had 12 flights with it. Had 1 problem with the Helibug conversion and will put something about that in the gasser forum when I get more time. Just for your info the 4th pic shows a heat shield I made to deflect heat away from the tail drive gears and pic of tail shows a Raptor E720/G4 tail unit that fitted pretty easy and is a much better unit than the stock 90SE enclosed gear set up.
Just got the RJX exhaust from Hobbyking today and fitted it. Ordered it from Hobbyking as I did not want the RJX logo knowing it would be inverted on a rear facing head but it came in a RJX box with their logo on it, looks like I'm stuck with that ! Also for anyone interested last pic shows heli and the type of sealant used on RJX exhaust, no gaskets used just the sealant, has to be left 24 hours to cure, have used this stuff for years and it does the job, up to 250 deg C constant 350 deg C intermittent, all joint faces need to be cleaned with acetone or similar before applying the stuff.
