Default 7200 vs ar7300

anyone have any experience with both units that can give an opinion to one or the other? What do we gain by going from the 7200 to the 7300? Is the programming the same on the 7300 as to the way parameters a and b and the menus are set up or are they different.
Bottom line question: is the 7300 better than the 7200?

Thanks

I have both. They both program identical. As a matter of fact there is no AR7300BX progame manual. My 7300 came with a 7200 program manual in the box

The main two differences are size (7300 quite larger) and the HD (Heavy Duty) dedicated power input. There is a power switch input on the 7300 as well but I optioned not to use it - one more thing to go wrong if you ask me.

For external BEC or 2S LiPo applications on larger birds the 7300 is a really neat way to go as I did in my Urukay - simple, clean installation.

As far as a rule goes, I would use a 7200 on small birds up to say 500 size where you would typically use an internal BEC. The 7300 is simply too big and will only fit if you mount it on the side frame (bulky + ugly).

I would use the 7300 on 550 size and up for reasons mentioned above.

Hope this helps.

No self-level or "Pro" features available for neither of these units. The AR7300 is basically a heavy duty version of the AR7200 as it can handle hungry servos by having a power BUS.

The ar7200 and ar7300 are a combination of microbeast and spektrum. The bail out unit is available only on the microbeast units (not associated with spektrum).

You have to use a satellite even in the smaller units.

Does it? Where did you read it? I saw that you can buy an upgrade to Safe, but not much more...
