You should balance your tail rotor on a good prop balancer.

John.
Yes it has happened to me three times in the last three months. Resulted in two crashes.

Don't worry despite what most people suggest its not your fault. This is a serious weak point of the tail control link

Lynx heli will release an upgrade soon that should solve this issue.

Make sure your tail grips are pulled all the way out so that the bearings are fully seated.
But I highly recommend you check the balance of the whole tail rotor. Also, inspect the tail hub with a digital caliper to make sure the hole for tail shaft is not offset from center. A long time ago, there was a batch of non-thrusted tail hubs that had the hole off center which caused vibe problems.

On balancing the tail, you can also do it "dynamically". I've found the tail rotor and blades to be too small to really dial them on on a balancer. So what I do is take off the main blades, then power up the heli while holding the bottom of the tail fin to feel the vibes -- CAUTION, the tail blades are still on, so you need to be really careful.

Then put a small piece of tape on one blade, then see if the vibes are better or worse.
Then take the tape off and put it on the other blade, see if better or worse.

If tape on either blade is better than no tape at all, then start experimenting with different sizes of tape until the vibes are gone.
