Default JR 7703d Gain Setup

Ok I have just completed a 700E, running the 770 with a futaba S9254 tail servo. The ball is set 15.5mm from the center of the servo and I have a Gyro Gain of 62 on the DX7 gyro sense menu.
I am developing a slight wag when in FFF, I have tried to increase gain and found this makes it worse. I am reluctant to lower the gain anymore as incase I end up too close to the 50 mark.
Would it be agood idea to move the ball in one more hole closer to the center of the servo so I can increase the gain setting??

I would try moving it in a bit, when I was using 15mm it was giving me a lot of trouble.

I use my 770 with the JR8900G. I have got my link out about 14.8mm, running about 1950 rpm head speed.

I don't use the gyro menu and setup my gain using the end point adjustment on the gear channel. My current setting is 20% and I don't get any wagging in fast flight in any orientation.

At a higher HS you would need a lower gain.

I would move the ball in a bit, but don't go below 13mm, I tried this and found the tail either wagged with gain to high and reducing the gain to stop the wag, the tail would kick sligthly doing pitch pumps.

Default All fixed!!!!

Well I enede up moving it in one hole, dropped my D/R to 50 and the gain to 50, and was then able to increase my gyro sense setting to 65%, works great but I think I can still increase the gain setting.
No more funny wags while in FFF which was the biggest issue.
Thanks for your help guys.
