Default RAAF UH-1H

Hello ladies and gents,
After years of drooling over the many awesome scale helis on here I have decided to get into the game and on Friday I received a vario turbine fuselage that I bought off a fellow here in Aus. I am going to base it on RAAF UH-1H A2-649 in the 'barracuda' scheme. I also chose this heli because later in the year I will be going down to the museum where it is on show. Now I will admit I am quite a rookie with scale stuff and being the first time I have dealt with vario stuff I have a million and one questions for all the scale gurus on this forum

The subject

It isn't in too bad of condition but there is a bit of stuff to fix. The main cut outs for the sliding doors are 15mm too long so have to fill that back in, the horizontal stabs aren't horizontal and I have to make a nose hatch cover. That's the list so far.

Now for a question..
He was setting it up with mechanics 1002/23 and a zenoah 27cc but I want to go electric and make my own custom side frames and use the gears, clutch, belts etc out of the petrol mechanics. The question is would these components handle swinging 1050mm blades? From my research the gears are mod1 but in the petrol mechs for the r22 which swings 950mm blades they are mod2 or xlv as vario calls it. The huey is going to weigh a lot more as well so will mod1 gears hold or should I sell them and buy the turbine/electric mechs?
Thanks
