Why are there no 700E V2s around? Is it the ESC problem or is it like the Whiplash and Ballistic and just not quite out yet? I'm ready to get one of them. Probably the 700E V2 but still waiting.

I would guess the Castle recall is having an impact. Check eBay though, there's always some listed. Readyheli is showing in stock right now too

I got mine from an eBay seller named taildriven. Fast shipping, everything as advertised in a sealed box, and cheaper than other vendors I looked at. V2 with 3GX, just a little more than $1300 shipped. That seller usually has a lot of Align stuff listed.

You'll need to plan on returning the ESC or going with a different brand. As far as I know, the kits for sale now do not have the new, supposedly fixed 120HV.

They have them for 1345 less a 10% discount = $1210 best deal I could find. Then my LHS matched the price for me

But I have heard nothing but good things about PreformancePlus..

On my way, actually stretching this one to an 800 for AP but I have another 700v2 kit sitting right behind it in my build queue to fly for fun. I bought both from grandrc so you can pick and choose esc,motor,blade,servo etc combo. Best choice imo.
Going with jive for AP and going to modify my ice 160 and cross my fingers for the other guy.

Thanks for the info. Looks like the new esc is shipping now, so they should be in the new kits.

They are just now starting to ship from Castle. So if the kit has been on the shelf it will not have the ESC yet. I imagine it will take a while for the pipeline to get "clean". How many ESCs do you think Align has setting there waiting to go into kits? Hopefully they replace them all before including them.
