Default Tail Motor Mount Replacement

All,

I broke the mount for the tail motor and was wondering if I could just get a replacement or the mount alone. I have already extended the tail with 2mm solid carbon. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Casey

I use the Rakon aluminum tail mount. It's pretty slick.

The Rakon Heli tail motor mounts seem to be hard to come by. How do they compare to the Astroid motor mounts?

I recently started flying with a 2mm carbon rod I cut to size from my old CX2 training gear. While the rod has survived numerous crashes without a scratch - I'm working on inverted flight - the stock motor mount eventually falls apart.

Given the limitations of my soldering skills, I'll probably stick with the stock motor. I haven't had any tail blowouts when performing rolls and flips... yet.

Thanks!
