Default Goblin 700c carbon ESC mount strong enough??

Hi all,

I'm in the process of building my new 700c and just wonder is the carbon fibre ESC mount (H0088-S) strong enough to hold a CC160HV Edge? it seem pretty flimsy i was thinking about buying the old CNC mount that came on the original Goblin or the KDE one what do you reckon?

Or is this new carbon one strong enough?

thanks in advance

It's definitely strong enough. I've had mine in for roughly 200+ flights and it's been fine.

I don't even use that tray on either of my Goblins. I just mount the esc to the bottom of the battery tray support with velcro. I have it like this on both my 630 comp and 700 comp, the 700 has the cc 160HV you are talking about.

Sorry I forgot to mention I have the KDE quick release battery system so I cannot mount under the battery tray unless I have a Kosmic 200 as there are the correct mounting hole for that ESC

So I have to use the lower tray

Shoot, my Castle 160s fit right in the esc spot on all three of my Gob's while using the Kde battery sliders when I was running Castle? I even had the phony Castle esc Sab heat sink on one until I realized the sink was worthless as the Castle base is made out of plastic.
