Default dx9 Binding Issue

Having trouble with binding a MCPX BL to my new DX9. All is good except the hell won't spool up. Throttle hold is off. Any help would be good as I'm somewhat of a newbie.

Did you try lowering the throttle trim a few clicks? Possibly lower the trim all the way.
Is the throttle channel moving up and down on the Monitor screen?

I find that if I'm within a foot or two, I have bind troubles...

Try stepping away 5-6 feet, the RF signal from the DX9 can be overwhelming

I was getting "BIND FAILED" 15-20 times before I had one successful bind. After trying the above I get successful binding everytime!
