Hi Guys
Can someone help me ??
I know it might sound silly, but is there a video showing the correct order to connect the leads between the receiver and the 3SX unit ?? I use a standard 8 channel futaba receiver and a 10C transmitter. I'm used to only connecting one gyro/tail gain lead to channel 5 on the rx, but the Demon 3SX has two gain leads and I'm not sure where the second lead should plug in ??

HELP !!!!!

Thanks

Garry

Need help, 36% is a good spot for my head gain. How do I save that on the pic setup program so I can remove it from RD knob?

Set 36% as the default in the BD software

The only gain that you'll have to change is going to be your tail gain, specifically when you get your TDR into some serious speeds...also dependent on your tail blade size.
Hi,

I installed a 3SX on my 180 CFX. I have seen the tail wobbling. I am not sure how to see the head moving so I can just the head gain? What should I look for ?
Thanks

If the head moves off axis from your input then you adjust the head gain. For the tail wobbling that would be tail gain adjustment required. Sounds like you need to turn it down. To do that live, you need to ensure the right channel in the Tx is set to tail gain and link that to a variable knob. Adjust it in flight till the wobbles go away and then plug it back into the 3SX software to find the value of tail gain achieved. At this point you can then lock in the tail gain.

Hi There,
Thanks so much for the informative Vids. I could not find any useful vids on this for 3SX specifically and found this is pretty much the same interface as the new one. Cheers

Hello, I am currently setting up this gyro. Should i be starting with my head gain on the left or right side of the bar at 50% or 0%. I have it on a 3 way switch being -50%, 0%,and 50%. Im a little nervous for the first hover and not sure how much these effect the control of it. As for the tail i think im safe to try it at 50% on normal mode, ( The values in my radio dont line up with the values on the program -So am i safe adjusting everything to the numbers on the program) Thanks in advanced!.

If you are planning to run Rescue mode. in the 7, Horizon TAB
Tune you .. Col Pitch Travel - only to be used in Rescue dwon to 4 and work up from there as the standard 7 is really agressive

just left head gain alone .... worked fine on My goblin 630.

As for the Tain gain .... started at 55 and used my trim switch to tune it and still have to set it into the FBL controller yet to disable my switch once figure is transfered.

Okay so on the menu where you set your end points. Was the head gain at 0? And the rigid menu the gain set to 55?

I did not zero the end points on the Head Gain ....
The Software will not let your progress (Continue button does not go live) to any more steps in the wizard until the important items are addressed... it was wanting absolute Zero for:
Aileron
Tail
Elevator
Pitch
Tail Gyro
everything else it seems to let you continue, So I did .
Once it is all Zeroed in your subs on your TX. and all your channels get 100%... you are good to go.

I'll continue to ponder the idea though. If someone wants to send a doner model I'd be all over it.
Could it be an idea to do a full explanation video with just some pictures of the Bavarian Deamon, with some arrows to show where you mean?

The pc software and explanation of what all the tabs and the tings in the tab would be so amazing for me (for so many others as well)
☺️☺️☺️☺️

I wish somebody could to some videos like "SEA.." on the spektrum DX9 black edition.

And if somebody could explain a few things to me about the tail gain, and the head gain.. It would be awesome.

Also. On my goblin 380, when I input aileron both right and left. The helicopter kinda shivers a little when I stop aileron input.. Why is this? To high or low gain? 😳

Just as a little update: finally, we are starting to get some videos done, step by step.
Latest in September we will start putting them up to our YouTube channel, and a link on the webpage. You will surely not miss it.
The goal is to get all the main setup steps for CORTEXpro and AXON on video, as well as some additional feature and how-to videos.
Of course you are also welcome to let us know what you want to see. But please, just to mention this right away: time is very limited, so do not expect everything to be videoed within an hour or day. This takes time, and there are shows and all the main business around the vids....unfortunately
So be patient with us, but we are on it. A first impression to be out soon...
