Default Difference between New Ball links?

Hi,

I have FBL head with Hitec 5245 servos on the cyclic, the ball links between the servo horn and the swashplate are different from the manual, they are not 21mm between the ball links, i must make them around 26mm between ball links to level the swashplate.. i notice that the ball links are shorter than the one that come with the kit (please see attached pic).. i searched for those long ball links but i can't find them.. can i use the shoreter one with safe??

another questions?? what are the correct length for the ball links for the FBL head and the old main shaft??

You need to find the long ones, and generally the links need to be shorter not longer

The swash can be level with any link length as longs all three links are the swame so i'm a little confused by your post

Btw the correct length should be closer to 19mm

You can buy the ball links in both sizes. I found this out when I ordered a bag of spares and got the larger ones then had to reorder to get the smaller ones.

On mine (500E) there are shorter ball links from the blade grips than from the swash.
(I mean the actual plastic ball links are different, obviously the overall link sizes are different)

Yes, the shorter version are used at the top of the FB head, Not on the FBL head at all.

yeah i had the same thing happen they are the only ones sold as 500 links but they are as deet said only the very specialized ones used on the last link on the FB head. you have to buy the trex 600 link set to get the ones that go everywhere else.
