Default Not all Vids downloadable yet?

Hi Sokal,

Thanks for the great videos. I was just wondering if there was a reason why several do not have the Download button.

I downloaded the ones that do have it. Will the others be available to download soon?

Thanks, Newbie George

Any more videos in the pipeline? I just had to replace my main gear, feathering shaft, and flybar shaft, and rebuild the three servo's, and I don't even know how to fly yet...

So now I'm left wondering, when I try to fly tomorrow, how do I tell if it's my ignorance of flying, or a possible screw up in re-assembly (no, I'm not afraid to admit I no nothing about this stuff)? Some video's on how to tell if the head is setup correctly, if the blades are tracking properly, and the servo's look good would be awesome!

Sokal,
You rock! I hope you don't get sick of hearing all the thanks. Got my b400 back together again and it flies great. Thanks to your vids (and Finless). I had no idea how to get it all back together again before.
Thanks,
Ken

Default Blade 400 setup problems

It seems as tho my Blade 400 is mechanicaly setup right..Im using my own Futaba 6exhp Transmitter.
All electronics and wires are correct.
only thing i'm suffering now if from settings cause i'm used to Flying bigger Heli's like Raptor 50.
I bought this Blade 400 just to fool around with. So when i reset one of my programs in my Radio i do all my basic adjusting like nor, Rev, and so forth. But now when i give it throttle just to test out blades, i notice that when i let down on throttle, the Heli lifts up a little..This only happens when i give it a good amount of throttle and if i let down to fast the heli lifts slightly off the ground..I wonder why it does that. I am not sure i want to give it mid stick Throttle for fear that if i let down on throttle, the heli will Jump in the air...Any feedback on this? Mechanically the Heli is setup right..Could it be my Transmitter settings? my goal is to make this lift off smoothly 1 feet of the ground so i can continue my other testing...

im sry i cant even begin to tell you about the futaba TX

im sure the dx6i settings altho the same may have a diffrent term for the futaba

but as for stock throttle curve
normal 0-25-50-75-100
stunt 100-92.5-80-92.5-100

and pitch is
normal 40-45-50-75-100 (my setting dont remember stock)
stunt 0-25-50-75-100
but sounds like you first p curve setting is not a neg pitch
or a gradual increasefrom low stick
or RX/TX may not have low setting programed
hope this help a lil sry did know the answer

Sokal, I just started in this hobby with the purchase of a Blade 400 a few weeks ago.

After my first flight (even having used the sim, obviously not long enough) I crashed and bent the feathering shaft and Main shaft. Thanks to your videos and the "How to Repair Your Blade 400" page, I was able to make all the necessary repairs. I also appreciate your sharing what you have done to upgrade your Blade 400, I have ordered the 3400G and the three DS285mg servos to do some of the same to mine.

By the way your videos have always been great and easier than reading an article, but your new Hi-Def videos are fantastic.

Once again I want to thank you and all of the others on this forum that share their knowledge and experience. Hopefully some day I will know enough to reciprocate.
