hi, my beastx upgrade to v3, but i can trying pitch pump sometimes swash stands..
my heli is trex 600n, cyclic servo ds610, my transmitter hitec aurora and my setup microbeastx swash servo select 200hz (B-blue) parameter menu B setup is sport C-very low G-normal H-off and my video, attention 45.seconds... |

you're killing your voltage reg when you do that.

you're pulling a lot of current when you do that, unless you run HV, but still you're pulling a lot of current without any airflow over your reg, it's probably gettting pissed(overloaded)

Was that heli porn?
+1 killing the reg. Are you feeding power to the Beast as well as the Receiver?

Nice way to wear out your tx and burn up some electronics. Looks like your overloading the regulator it's overheating from all that and causing a brown out. It's one thing to test the electronics but that's a little overboard. How hot were those servos?

answer came to tech. dept. "Talked to Walter today, the chief engineer of Microbeast. But unfortunately he also has no different answer than me. He said he also would guess it is a power problem." but i change power connect, i use spc port in aurora rx, so cyclic servos power directly... reg. power only to run the receiver is connected.. and again test pitch pump, and check to servo temp.. cold all the servo |

It's hard to say. It stresses the whole system doing that. Try this. Put a small fan blowing across your electronics. Set a timer for 3 minutes and move both collective and cyclic around SLOWLY. Also check the Rx pack voltage before and after. If nothing fails then try again for 5 minutes. When you work the electronic on the bench in the way you did in that video it stresses them in ways you don't realize. It's very bad for them and will cause failures. Let us know what you find

Keynes- this just appears to be a standard brownout on the RX. It sounded like you lost active control for < 1sec, and the uB never did a full reset by itself. So, this implies the voltage < 3.8v and > 1.8v.
Servos (on a reversal) can draw significantly more than their holding/transit/stall current. With cyclic pitch pumps, you have 3 in parallel. If they have their PWM aligned precisely on the reversal, you can see very high current demands. If this was thermal, you would have a hard time explaining why the problem happened at 45sec but not again. If anything, the temps are increasing through this test. If it was a faulty BEC leading to a thermal reset, the uB would likely have reset also.

What regulator do you have? That should not happen.

hi,
I did a test in this way, digital thermometer measured the temperature of the servo, first temp. 30, (not move), and I tested during 2 minutes after, temp. is max 35...its ground temp, will be colder than the air, and temp reg. 30, max 45 I will test the air align ds610 Temperature range:-20°C~+60°C B6T 2 In 1 Voltage Regulator ●Input voltage: DC 7.4V 2CELL Lithium battery ●Output voltage:6A 5.8V(For reciver/servo) 5A 1.5V(For Glow plug) ●Max. continuous current: 6A |

I can get nothing from the video..it's more a blur than anything.
And i don't really get in what sort of situation in flight you're gonna need this. Have you flown with V3 already?

do you have a watt meter, or eagle tree or something you can put on there to watch volts/amps? like I and others stated before it looks like a current issue, a classic brownout.

I do not have watt metter, i have hitec aurora tx,show rx voltage..
first connect type and test 5.2v to 4.8v ,4.2v ,4v second connect (with spc port directly 2s lipo) 8.2v but not change on pump test.. No problem for now, this way did not for brownout, but i want to test hover and pump |
