Default New Flybar Carrier

Just finished my Stratus and was finishing the new Flybar Carrier,
I am having some difficulty with the final assembly of this new flybar control.
When I bolt the flybar spacers between the two Graphite Control arms - the whole mechanism rides back and forth on the fly bar - for whatever reason, with the spacers attached in between the Graphite fly bar arms - the flybar arms won't sit flush against the main pivot shaft.
I wonder if I am missing a part or have done something wrong.
Does anyone know or seen what this might be,
Thanks,
JH

Going to need a picture on this one.
It could be wrong part or assembled incorrectly.
The flybar control mechanism should not move back and forth.

There is pictures of assembled new fly bar carriers in the forum. Look at them and see if yours looks the same.

spoke to M/A today - seems one of the aluminum flybar spacers is out of spec. and causing the problems - they are sending me some new ones.
Thanks,
Jeff

buster1,

Just wondering if we know each other... I fly with the Seaview Rotary Wings club over by Cropsey Ave. in Brooklyn... have you been there?

Collective - no, I don't believe we know each other, but maybe we have met and I am not sure - but I do live in Manhattan and would like to check out the Seaview Rotary Wings Club - where is it and when is best time to come down.
Thanks,
Jeff

It's right off the Belt Parkway by the Cropsey Ave. exit. Great bunch of people, great flying site. The only issue is that if you're not a member you can't park right on the site... but what we do for guests is you drive in and unload, then drive out and park, someone from the club follows and drives you back in.

If you want to fly with us sometime, let me know.

If you're interested in meeting the guys, we have a club meeting coming up on Wednesday, October 19th at 7:00 PM at the Ryan Visitor Center at Flyd Bennett field in Brooklyn...

I'm not trying to hijack your discussion but do you guys fly at the Drier Offerman Park? I'm in NY right near JFK airport on business and want to swing down and check it out...maybe even fly sometimes...

Yes, that is the place. I've seen it called Drier Offerman park on a sign by the gate, also "Calvert Vaux Park" on a sign at the entrance by the street. If you're on the eastbound service road of the belt, the entrance is about a quarter mile or so before Cropsey Ave.

There's an "outlaw" field closer to JFK, I haven't been there lately though.
