Default 300x drive train problem.

I think I have some problem in the drive train on my 300x. The tail has a jerk in it. The higher the head speed the worse it is. I usually fly at 75% throttle curve . Today I set it up higher and the tail started jerking and moving around to the left - nose right - almost uncontrollable . At lower head speed it flyable . It's not vibration . Its more like something is hanging up now an then. I have taken the tail apart and checked bearings, checked main bearings, and motor bearings. Check the belt and anything else I though might have an interference . Anyone have other ideas???

I would try resetting the tail endpoints in the AR7200 if your running run

Check main gear motor pinion mesh as well as tail belt tension and belt teeth.

Worse case scenario, the pulleys might need replacing

I pulled the motor back. Then spun it by hand I could here a faint ticking sound . I could feel it inthe frame close to the main shaft. Took it apart I found a burr on the pull that drives the tail. It got there from a previous repair where I had to use a pliers to get the pull on the metal hub. Thought I had it all cleaned up.

I made 4 flights today and it all seemed good.

I made some more flights with the 300x . I noticed just before it lifted the sound of the motor was going up and down. Examined the motor and the bearing were going bad. Changed to a spare motor I had and changed the main shaft bearings . Good again . Probably when the tail was acting up was from the motor bearings not being smooth.
