Very nice silverbullet!

You say low head speed... may i ask roughly what speed that means? i'm thinking of running a very similar system to this one and would much rather lower headspeeds because i don't think you need ballistic head speed with larger heli's and still be able to lay it down. Get more flight time to boot.

it is surprising how easy you can misjudge it by sound. I was running mine with 2400 and with 2100 -> both sounded almost th same and my first feeling was it is too slow. Reality 2400 is still way to fast. So I will dial it down a little bit this weekend.

silverbullet,

Thanks for your estimate of head speed. Its great to hear you say it was around the exact same speeds i was hoping to hover in (pun intended! ).

If the pro's of yesteryear could fly how they did with those "low" head speeds and seeing your flight (which was really great stuff) just confirms it even more. I'll convert it into more air time.

I would love keeping mine at 2400 rpm -> only issue I saw was that Outrage recommends max head speed of 2200. So I will dial ours down and see how it is doing. I might even run it about 2300 at the end.

Will set the TRex 600 the same with same electronics just to see how they compare in real.
