Faifa Pinion bearing block - Help
Hello,
I am doing a maintenance of my Faifa and the bearing of the pinion bearing block drive feels notchy. I have tried to heat the block in the oven to replace it, but it would not come loose. Does someone know how to remove it? |

Did you crash it?? I had the same Problem after a major Crash. Heated it up in the oven to about 180°C
for 15min but it wouldn't come out. Then i noticed that the bearing was in the block crocked and it needed to be pressed in first so it was strait and fully seated and then i did the oven thing again and it went out like nothing!! Good luck!! If it is strait in and the oven is not hot enough then use a blow torch and really heat it up and it will fall out!! the block will easy tolerate 450°C! Use the torch only on the side of the block not to heat the bearing directly!

Hi Stallion,
Thanks for your answer. I did not crash it, so I suppose that the bearing is strait, I am upgrading it to LRH, and doing some maintenance after 4 month. I do not have a blow torch right now but I will buy one and try it. |
