Here's a vid of me flying my new 7hv. Little low headspeed 3d work. Flight 7 and getting her dialed in. This thing is surprisingly quiet and smooth. Definitely just what I was looking for!

Compass 7hv slow and low 3d at 1815 hs (4 min 45 sec)

Lovely flying.
Slow and smooth and great transitions.
What head speed were you using at the beginning ?

Hey thanks! The majority of the flight was around 1820 and then the idle2 was around 1950.

Fly mine in 1800 all the time and know some flying even lower speeds.

Very nice indeed. Easy to lose orientation with that kind of stuff moving slow.

JCLs, are you running the green dampers or blue? I'm using the greens so far and haven't noticed anything down to about 1750 or so in normal mode, haven't gone any lower. I'm going to lower my idle1 down to my normal speed as it has more than enough grunt where it was and plenty of tail authority.

I heard quite a few people saying the driverless head design couldn't do slo mo but I watched quite a few vids of people flying lower before I pushed the button and it just isn't true. I'd say it enjoys it down there as well as higher. I love the huge flight envelope it has. Really well designed.

Good thing you kept your 7hv Sam. I thought you got rid of it in favor of the E700.

Nooo didn't get rid of it, just put it too the side Only put several flights through the E700 and the main gear stripped twice, also looked too fragile imo.

Back to flying the best

Too much Heathy pressure prevailed!! Don't like to see friends making the wrong choices, that's my job lol.

I figured Graham had something to do with it ...

Sam, you've had your fun with the mingers, now back to the 7HV.

That's the thing Jeff, I didn't have any fun with the other 'mingers'

That included with a small dose of Heathy pier pressure soon had me back flying the Compass

Good man. Like a pair of old jeans. You try other newer ones but there all too tight round your balls when driving so back to the old faithful it is.

Finally dialled the 3sx on the 7hv today. She flies as good as ever after yesterday's mishap. Loving this new fbl unit.
