I'll be at Toronto for sure, probably the most worthwhile round here.
I like your attitude Gimpy. I could learn something from you. I have always been a glass half empty kind of guy unfortunately. I don't think I will make Toronto but, I am hoping to get to Pitchfest and maybe one other one. Time will tell. Also, I forgot to comment on the hand wound motors. I have been tempted to try one myself for a while, but already have too many hobbies lol. Maybe later this year I will look into getting my HKIII4020-1100 rewound to make it even more beasty. I will shoot ya a pm for some info on who does it if I decide to do it. Thanks dude

Default 550U Tail blade experiences

So I just purchased my air frame from Tauscnc for a great price basically brand new. I am in the process of outfitting the heli with electronics and blades. I wanted to know what length and brand of tail blades everyone was having the best performance from. I usually go with KBDD but I see folks are using 84mm and 90mm. Also I have never tried the heavier Edge blades. Maybe those are the ones. Otherwise the rest of the heli is outfitted with the following electronics:

motor - KDE 600XF 1100kv G3
Main blades - Rail 556
ESC - Castle Creations Edge 130
Bec - Castle Creations Bec Pro
Flybarless Unit - Beastx

I'm still up in the air on the servos. There are so many great choices in servos out there at a range of prices. The servos are going to be the most expensive items on this machine. I got everything else at ridiculously good prices here on the for sale section. So any input on tail blade recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also some thoughts on servo choices. This is going to be one bad machine. Thanks guys your always so very informative.
