I was flying today....And i got Problems!!!!!NOW I GOT A 2.4 CONVERSION...Watch video

I got a Raptor 30 v1, all i want to do is sell it so i can save for a bigger bid, so i was fling today and she is very clean, like new bird....all trim out, but i get (Raptor 30 with Epilepsy!) she fly good an at random times al servos twitch, even throttle, i dont want to sell her till i know its safe.....so i need help, im still a noob and i never seen this before, ive had 1 servo wiggle before but not all,,,,any help would be great.....watch the video and see it wiggle, and she throttles up quick sometimes to,,,,

i was woundering if the 72 MHZ is no good with the 2in1 should the anttenna go away from it?

my raptor 30 v2 has 72MHZ radio to but it is a 7c radio with same equiptment, and i dont have a problem

Check n make sure none of your wires are cut open from rubbing on the frame... ive seen that before and thats what the cause was. Yours might not be that but i would start there.

Could be interference from neighboring radio waves..

also try and not point that antenna at the heli. that will make a dead spot

Check tail boom support rods ( Tight ) , Check drive belt for stretch , can even be the fan on the motor , but as said .... pointing the antena is a deadly sin

i bought ths girl used and it has magnets on the fan....what are they for????

I can't hear anything wrong over the background music. I agree with the above, pointing antenna at the heli is not a great idea, but should not lead to any issues at such short range. The magnets in the fan are usually for a governor sensor, which is used to keep the rotor rpm constant at a pre-programmed level. Twitching servos particularly on the tail can be caused by static on the tail belt, this can be exacerbated by tightening the belt and using a carbon fibre boom. If that is the case, try a silicone spray on the tail belt as first remedy, if that does not work, try grounding the tail boom to the engine block with a wire.

more than likely the problem is in the reciever. I had the same problem before I switched to 2.4 and it was in the reciever. Try a difff one to see.

I have never heard of anyone having to ground the boom to the engine block or this theory of static from the tail belt. Please post another thread to support this topic. I would like to educate myself further.

I do not advise spraying anything on the belt. The common practice on helis for years has been to run everything dry. Lubricants attract dirt which will wear parts out faster.

+1 on the lubrication. I learned the hard way. Now I don't put any oil or grease on any of the bearing or shims..

try to move the antenna around ,rerout the antenna away from metal and servos and make sure there is no metal rubbing and all the bearings are good. 75mhz is very picky about interferance.
if you cant figure it out im close by and can take a look at it for you.

Your bearings should be greased with a bearing greaser. Any grease that seeps out, should be wiped away after a day of flying. Your pitch sliders should get a drop or 2 of Tri-Flow or perhaps dry graphite and that too should be wiped clean at the end of the day and re-lubed before the next day of flying. Too many flying pigs out there.

do you think the raptor is building up that much static in the boom.....ho would you test it.......run it without blades

2 of the easier fixes I've seen are connecting a ground wire on the tailboom. Connect it at the tail rotor end, then at the drive end, and then to the engine, all in series. It doesn't have to be pretty for testing purposes. Also graphite from a carpenters pencil. run it on the outside of the belt all the way around. Seems to act like a graphite lube without oiling things up.
