Default Anti-rotation Bracket

Hi Gang,

I am down to the final strokes of completing a 450 SE V2 DFC conversion. I am just in the process of putting the head together and leveling the swash. Most everything is done so now comes the fiddle work. I ran into a snag, (Now THERE is a surprise) with the anti-rotation bracket. I bought the new swash plate with the 90 degree offset inner ball links and it would seem that the stand-offs that they lower balls screw into are beefier and protrude about 2mm more (when referenced from the main shaft) than on the stock fly-barred swash. This means that there is less clearance for the anti-rotation shaft. When I just set it up it back ball link on the anti-rotation shaft will bind ever so slightly in the groove on the bracket in full negative. I can think of a couple of solutions like sanding the groove in the bracket or hacking the frame a little to move the bracket back but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to solve it?

Thanks,

Dan

I had a similar issue. I simply took a file to the groove in the anti-rotation bracket until there was no binding.

Hi Macdad,

That is likely what I am going todo as well. Just seeing if someone had a better idea or substitute part.
