so like the title says, I have a pl8 and that board, so what lead connects the 2?

See the section titled Non FMA Parallel Boards

I would check with HK and see if they have the correct interconnect cable. If not then I would try one of the ones from ProgressiveRC or BuddyRc (links above). But bare in mind that you may still have to modify the pin configuring of the cable on the side the goes into the parallel board. Be sure to check continuity between the pins in the board and the pins that connect to the charger before connecting a battery.
