I settled on +- 13 and 2250 HS. Running the 510kv motor, 693 blades and 5100 mAh packs. It stops and starts great and the tail behaves on 105mm blades.

I'm pretty reserved with my setup, 11 to -11 and a HS of 1875 w/690 blades and a 700MX 510kv motor.

I have backed off a little to:
1917 w/12T
690 Radix FBL
2050 HS
14.0 degrees

This combo holds headspeed better than the one above did - I think at least partly due to pinion change. May actually have a little more pop too...

I'm running like 15° and 713s... I wonder if that's the reason that my jive 80 is hitting cut-off lately with the summer high temps?....

^^^ I would have to agree. 15 degrees of pitch is really unnecessary when using the larger blades or at all really. I would go down to at least 13. What is your headspeed?

That would cause the jive to work harder. What is your headspeed anyways?

I fly at 2050HS and occasionally switch to 2150.

I have to redo all my links methinks since to be at 13 I'm too low on the Vbar's settings

+/-13 and no idea on Aileron and Elevator since I have a microbeast fbl controller. I have it in transmitter mode set at 105. I run 2150 in IU1 and 2200 in IU2 with 690 blades. Super fast and no bogging from start to finish.

I ran +/-14 for a while but found that I couldn't keep from climbing during tic tocs

It's the Vbar Cyclic that matters 80-100, think mine is @ 78.
The Collective does not matter if < 80

13 deg.
Does not really matter 13,14 if you don't push the sticks all the way,,
