Default New X5 FES owner

I just bought an X5 FES minus servos and beastx. Can't wait to get it, i'll pick it up this weekend. Will have to set on the shelf until I recover some funds to buy eletronics. Thinking about: MKS servos (My Initals by the way)
The new Spectrum/Beastx unit with satellite
Not sure if I need a seperate BEC and batt.
Not sure on what battery. Maybe Hyperian 4200 and charger
I'm going to use my Dx6i rx
Should I replace the blades to 520's(Edge or Gaui?)
Same with green kbdd dampners or leave stock?
I don't want to screw this up. This will be my first big flybarless heli coming from a Blade 400. My level of flight is big air, big loops and rolls, up high inverted, and fast forward flight. Also starting tic tocs and rainbows. I'm so excited it's going to dwarf my 400. I visit this forum often I know i'm in good hands

Hv servos are the way to go, then you can use a 2s lipo direct voltage.
No bec to worry about.

The new beastx/spektrum unit is worth the wait,

You can use red gaui or lime kbdd dampners, I use the limes

The 520mm blades are nice, I think for big air stuff this is the way to go. A 15t or 14t
For the 520mm blades. 16t or 15t for 500mm.

Might want to get the frame stiffening kit/battery stop, a lot of people use it.

Getting the beastx setup right is 1 of the most important if not the most important
Step.

Put the main shaft in while assembling the frame, to get the bearings lined up right.

I would use 3m clear gel tape for mounting the beastx.

Watch nexgens videos first, and or follow along in the build.

Once you get it in the air, you'll be amazed at how stable it is, and powerful.

To start run 10 degrees cyclic pitch, and 11 or 12 collective pitch.

Hyperions are the cream of the crop in batterys , but they come at a price.

Check out the battery stickey for other brands that fit.

Welcome to the club , take your time on the setup, ask a lot of questions and you'll be flying in no time.
