Default scorpion motor connector burnt

Hi, just had a problem with my mates E720 cutting out doing tic tocs, the motor is a scorpion 4525/520 and came with gold bullets fitted from factory. the heli has done about 100 flight with no problem. after removing the motor just one of the three has burnt black. anyone else had a similar failure ?

It depends what kind of connectors the motor has from factory.
If it is the usual 4mm cheapo, then get rid of them.
They are crap.
Either 5.5 to 6 mm and strong springs or better solid solder points.

they are 5mm i think. they are not the 4mm lantern type. going to put 6mm on as i have not had any trouble with these.
