Remove flybar paddle
Hello!
I need some help removing the flybar paddle =/ I tried to screw out the grub screws but it wont work, its tight as hell, and when I force to turn the screw, it jumps to the next position(not sure how to explain the jumping part). What can I do now? Any suggestion? Thanks! |

Could be glued in with thread locker too, when you do try again heat it up with a soldering iron first then try unscrew it

By drilling it out, dont I have to get a new flybar and paddle?
And by heating it up, where should I point the tip of the solder machine thingy ? xD |

If you are carefull when drilling you should be able to just remove the grub screw and not damage the paddle or the bar.
As for heating apply heat directly to the grub screw then once it's heated up a bit try use a fresh allen key (nice square edges, not rounded at all). Best to do this while it's still hot Good luck.

Argh! So much pain to change the push rods!
Just because the screw doesnt work properly =( Well! Guess I have to buy a soldering iron this weekend then! AND lets hope there is some glue preventing me from loosening it, so I dont need to drill and fail big time.... Wish me luck ^^ |

Maybe its not the grub screw thats rounded but the allen key. Try a new key or "Dremil" down the existing end of the allen key so its like new again.
I do the dremil trick with allens, star drivers and hex drivers that get worn tips, works great every time.
