Question Lipo checker going bad?

I have a Hitec Lipo Checker and it's acting weird recently. I do not recall it acting like this previously..but maybe it is my aging batteries?

With some 3 cell batteries, what it will sometimes do is when I connect it will say 4.2, 4.21, 4.17. Then a second later or so it will say 4.2 across the board. Then disconnect and reconnect and it will say 4.2 across the board. Wait a little and it will be off again. Maybe 4.2, 4.2, 4.18, which will then change to 4.2 across the board within a sec. But it's always the last cell that drops.

The batteries have a very close IR according to PL6 - say no more than .3 mohm and around 2.6-3mohm per cell (the last cell is always the highest, though).

Typical behavior for cell checkers when they are not making good contact with the balance connectors. I'd clean the contacts on the packs and the cell checker with a contact cleaner like Deoxit.
