Question Left piro after banking left. Help needed

Hi folks,

(sorry for my poor English, I'm French, nobody's perfect )
My MSR finishes every left bank turning left without giving any rudder input.
I mean it banks normally with some light left aileron then suddenly swivel to the left.
Is that normal and should I compensate with some DX6i settings or is there anything wrong with my setup?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!

(I just built this heli with new spares and it's pretty stable)

It is kind of normal, when you are going right the tail motor is working to hold the heading but it isnt working when going left.

The faster you are going the better it gets. the tail motor isn't spinning when you are going left so there isn't alot of tail authority.

Going faster gives you what I think is called a weather vein effect and that helps hold the tail inline behind the heli.

IF IT CAN'T BE FIXED WITH DENTAL FLOSS, THEN IT CAN'T BE FIXED..LOL

I see. Thanks for your explanation.
Now, because I'm flying indor only in my narrow living room I can't really go faster.
I like banking from left to right inside the room but every small left cyclic input begins well and suddenly swivel and I loose control.
I'll love to know if there is a way to avoid or reduce this, by practicing any kind of technique or with the help of some mix with the DX6.

I couldnt help you with any type of mix but you can get better at going left just by being easy on the rudder control, it will still have better tail authority going right but with practice you will get better at going left.

Keep the nose down (forward cyclic) and feed it plenty of throttle during the turn. As you slow down, the rudder becomes more effective. Speed is your friend during banked left turns. Long "advanced" swashplate balls are mandatory. Shortened swashplate arms make these left turns much easier.

Thanks, it makes sense but the problem is getting worse and worse after a few flights and I assume something is wrong with my setup.
I have the Xtreme swashplate (great piece of hardware BTW) and I use the long balls.
The swash appears flat and level but when flying, if I just give a small input to the left aileron cyclic it looks like the rudder works and not the aileron and the heli is turning instead of banking.
Speed doesn't help.

Maybe a problem with servos rod length? ...but I don't know how to solve it.

Does the swash act correctly when the heli isn't flying?

It kind of sounds like you have some mix programed in the radio.

Well there is indeed some play when holding the heli by the rotor head, the swash plate moves up and down which is not the case with my other full HM alu (except tail) MSR.
This one has a Rakonheli head with a MH blade grips, Rakon CNC anti rotation and collar and the Xtreme swashplate.
Maybe the Rakon head and the Microheli blade grips are not working well together...?

Is the main gear pushed all the way up on the main shaft?

Got it! :--)))
I was used to the Microheli stuff and I didn't notice that the Rakon rotor head needs the rubber grommets for the shaft to be inserted into slots that are cnc machined out to hold them in place.
Without them, there was some play with the swashplate!
Just put everything back and I must say that I am really impressed by the rakon upgrade.
Very nice pieces of engineering indeed and a smooth and silent result compared with my other MH upgraded MSR.

Thanks again folks!
I'll post some pics of my 2 MSRs a bit later.
