Default Kontronik Competition Pyro Motors

Is anyone as excited as I am about a "full line" of Competition Pyro motors similar to the old Black Edition 700 but from 650 to 850??? I wonder if the winding is different from the BE 700. I need more info!!!

I want to compare the Comp Pyro 650 to the Scorp 4225. If it is close I'd rather go Pyro. Price seems steeply higher, but baaaa, I don't spend insane irrational sums on anything else.

Being associated with Kontroniks doesn't have any impact on this ?

Is there a link to all these new motors?

I think world of heli may have them listed but if not here's a link to the catalogue which is to big to upload here. http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/kontro...logue-pdf.html

Yeah, yeah.. I've done soo much since trying to organize that.

Lately I've been working 10-11 ( billable ) hour days, so not much time to play, but it's freaken cold out lately and now is the time to put the hours in.

I just found out my SK-GPS shipped! So I'll be testing out it's hard deck features soon. Probably still a few weeks out on the DS-16 which is just as well since it will be entirely too distracting!

I'm curious why they don't have specs on the competition series.

They never posted them with the Black Edition either so you could never actually see any numbers to show what you were getting.

What I'm REALLY curious about is why they are developing a mobile application for setting up they Kosmik's by blue tooth with an Android phone and soon an iPhone, rather than allowing a usb connection with a PC.

ProgCard II
ProgDisk
Blue tooth module

Could it be that each of those allows them to sell something and just plugging it into a computer would be too simple?

When I saw the USB port on the Kosmik, I really hoped that they would offer a nice easy way to configure their ESC's with a computer

I agree with you!

Who knows the differences between those Pyro 700 Premium Line and Competiton Line? (for example: Weight)

Weight will be very similar to stock, negligible tbh, as for data, look on slowflyworld.de site, they have them in yy and d, i may be wrong but think they will be the yy version
