got tired of not finding a single 6s lipo that needed to be put on its side with added protection or putting 2- 3s lipos in series and having to put them on their side with added protection. Hope I will be happy with the flight times. My plan is to mount them flush with the front on one of my stretched minis and if a bit more weight is needed I will put some great planes stick on lead weights at the very front top of the battery. I have done this on my 3 cell 450's. The weight neede at the very front is usualy minimal. 2 or 3 of the 7 gram stick ons i hope will do it. I just am not into hanging the battery of the front of the heli for obvious reasons HA!. If I can get 5 minute flights with them I will be happy as they are the perfect 6s fit for the mini imo. Ordered direct from tp. They are more than happy to make em up for ya as they should for what the damn things cost! I was going to wait for the reactors from rc canada but even those seem a bit to long but they are 1400 mah but way less c rating, oh well

I'll be interested to hear what you think of them Scott. I have a bunch of them and I'm happy with them but I thought my flight times might be longer than what I'm getting which is a max of about 5:20 sticking to the 80% rule, doing sport flying mainly about 2700 headspeed. I have my timer set at 5:10.

I am working on a 3s Protos because 4s and 6s is not that easy to find at the correct ma and weight. Putting together two 3s is not a bad idea its just all the wiring and connectors you will have to deal with.
Here is another source http://www.valuehobby.com/power-syst...1-1v-lipo.html which should go around the same weight as the pair you using. $20 a set basically

Just weighed one with EC3 connector and full length velcro - comes in at 220 grams. I don't mind paying the price for quality and I don't miss the mucking around with series packs. Actually, I still sometimes use my 1100 Mah hyperions which go ok at just under 5 mins.

I have four of the TP 1300's, they go ok.
CG unstretched was perfect with pack in middle of tray CG stretched I have the pack as forward as I dare and it still a little tail heavy. Landing with around 25% left: unstretched 2400rpm, hovering I can get 6min unstretched 2700rpm, pushing I can get 5min stretched 2600rpm, pushing I can get 4min stretched 3000rpm, pushing I get 3min - they are barely warm!
