Talking New 250 owner

Hey guys I'm a newcomer to the 250 club. I bought a used Trex 250SE which should be coming tomorrow. Before this built a HK450 and put about 50 flights on it which flew ok other than mechanical failures which is why I am getting the 250. My question is there anything specific I should inspect/pay attention to when tearing it down for inspection? I believe it has all stock electronics but I am going to throw on the Spartan Quark and Futaba 9257 I think it is from my 450 instead of fooling around with the stock gyro/servo.

that's a good combo, quark + 9257 = rock solid tail.

+1 with that comment, I am using both those items on my Trex 250 and my Trex 450 and the tails are rock solid all the time regardless of how I fly.

Thanks for the info guys.

Sorry it took so long to update had a crazy week here.. Anyway was able to get the 250 together and flying and like you guys said with my combo the tail has been solid after I added a washer to the tail box to take out the slop out of the tail shaft.

Does anyone here run the tarrot zyx gyro in their helis? Mine came with the Mikado I think conversion kit to go flybarless so I would like to use it.

I really like the 250 though and am very happy with it. People say it's twitchy hard to see in flight etc but I never had any of those issues with about 6* of pitch on the cyclic. Also coming from a clone it's a nice step up in quality.
