My first auto! ( not by choice)
Out flying this morning and after a hard loop I heard an odd noise and started to loose power. Good thing I practice auto's on the sim all he time. I was actually proud of myself. I did a textbook one with a nice smooth landing. After inspection I found I stripped my main gear. I've heard this is pretty common with this heli. I did a search and found a couple threads about replacing the main gear with the Velocity 50 .8 gear. I had no problem finding those, but what pinion do I want to use? looks like maybe a 12 tooth? I have not been able to find one of those for my Scorpion motor, any ideas?

Which Scorpion do you have. I have a 14T on my 1100KV and a 12T on my 1390KV with the 129T Fusion 50 main gear. Helidirect has the 12T thru 16T in stock in 5mm shaft size. Look in the Fusion 50 parts pages.
