As people start pushing crazier headspeeds, a beefier head is needed. I would have liked to see a rigid head like the Warp, but that may not scale up.

I really like this design. I think the 6HV was long overdue for a redesign and some upgrades. The one thing I really like is the canopy. I always thought of the 6HV as a small heli (at least for a 600 class) but hopefully this new canopy will make it seem larger in the air.

I'm very impressed, Sebastian did a great job on the new canopy I love it. The original 6HV is one of my favorite beat down helis of all time. The new servo mounting system is MUCH nicer than the original. Very aesthetically appealing compared to the old version. The helical main gear will also be a nice addition, that old one was a bit noisy.

Nice job, I like the new canopy, and the updates are all needed. With luck most of it will fit the original 6hv.

From what is shown so far, I would really like upgrading to it. My 6HV still looks and flies new, so I would not be in any sort of hurry. I would hope I could use my existing packs and electronics, although I'd be tempted to move to newer servos. I look forward to the testing and release phases unfolding. I especially like seeing the helical gear. I love the canopy shape. It has the profile many of us have been seeking. I believe it will attract buyers who didn't care for the low profile look of the current 6HV. An inspiring paint scheme will get some real excitement going!

It's this or Goblin 500 as my next build.
If this thing will fit and CG w/ 3300/3700's I am leaning towards the 6Hv.

Really looking forward to see some test flights and more details.

Looks like the same frame with,
So does that mean you can use the v2 boom block mounts and upgrade to the new sized boom/tail. Looks like alot can be compatible except the frame bits.

I think I could do without the canopy and the swooped belly look (kind of looks like a Furion 6 which I always thought was hideous). The rest of the frame looks great and it looks like the rear servo got pushed up a bit and might be addressing the problem with alignment of the output shaft on the original 6HV. I didn't take a real close look, but I think if it's a 2-piece frame then the whole front end should be break-away because that's right where they would always break on the Atom and 6HV due to it being a very small piece of carbon and a lot of weight hitting on it with the batteries in a vertical crash or hard landing. Also, I really hope they add a keyed slot or something to the boom so we don't have to guess at how to line the boom up. Not that it was ever a problem for me, but it's something that would simply make sense seeing it wouldn't change how it would fit in a different model that wasn't keyed.

I suppose the rest will grow on me and I kinda like the beefier head. I think if you could put up to 4000's in it and stretch it to 650's then it would satiate the inevitable question of whether or not it can be done. Might as well cut it off at the pass and make it a possibility. Also, I didn't look, but if it can get a carbon tail rod that would be a real nice addition.

Not a big fan of the warp canopy and I dont think I will like this either. Looks slightly over sized. Just a bad fit to me. Ill see how it looks with the paint on it. I loved the original profile so I guess I would like a slightly leaner compromise. Everything else looks great. Hope the parts are interchangable with the old 6hv.

YEP, gotta agree with Timmeh on this one BLECH!
First thing that sprung to mind...... "That looks very MAish....." The slab side + curved bottom is very Furion 6 like.

Really hoping the parts are interchangeable with the old 6hv as I'm sure when this is released they might stop selling the old 6hv parts. However, this has really got my juices flowing, so will be buying a kit for sure! would go as far as staying the 6hv is the best 600 available today. I hope they have sorted the anti rotation bracket issue?

Looks cool. Compass sure did address the small canopy "complaint" on the v1. I think with the right scheme the warp canopy will work good. I'm liking the frames too.
