Default A different way to mount the jive

I was concerned about the esc taking a hard hit during a crash so I cut out the plate and mounted it to the back with parma servo tape it comes off clean when removed and holds real good. Now the heat sink is below the frames and still gets all the exposure it needs. Click image for larger version

That should work.

I like it when some one is thinking outside the box.

BUT..does it not hide the light on the ESC if it has one?

Mounted mine like this (stole idea from Magneto ) and you can still see the light from the hole in the side of the frame. You can also access jumper from the top w/pair of needle nose.

Nice idea, but I would hate to hide that big beautiful Jive from view!

Here is a Jive ESC tray that I had made for Magneto, I have one extra plate, please PM me if you want it. The cut out is offset 5mm towards the motor.
