Has anyone done this conversion?
Can you give me details on what needs to be done. Do I need to change the tail motor holder or how is that modded?
also how is the new tail motor held in place?

I already bought the 2.9 from Terrance. I went to install it today and the motor won't fit into the old motor mount so I was wondering if there was a fix for it or I need to buy a new motor mount. .Wow advertises a clip that holds the motor to their new tail mount. I don't have the clip so how is motor held in place?
I was also wondering if the main motor can keep up with the outrunner 2.9 or outrunner 2.0. I have one of each or does it need a more powerful main?

You will have to have a clip mount or glue it. Wowhobbies has a specific clip mount for the 2.9. I have the combo, but am having problems with the HP-06 motor already, so I can't help to know if the main motor is sufficient with the tail upgrade.
