I currently have an mSR, and have an mCPX on order (my Christmas Gift

) and will be ordering an mCX for my daughter. I am really starting to ramp things up with my heli stuff and am planning to set up a proper PSU/Battery charger. I am trying to collect all the stuff I need before Christmas. Here is the question:

Do all 3 helis (mCX, mSR, and mCPX), use the same battery connector? I want to order a parallel board/cable, but don't know if I need 2 different ones or just one that will do all these batteries? What is the name(s) of the connectors on these batteries?

Found the answer to my question so as I progress through the line of Blade Heli's I know the connectors:

Blade mCX and mSR - Pico Connector
Blade mCP X - JST-PHR-2 Connector
Blade 450 3D - EC3 Connector

Your mSR celectra 4 port charger can do all your blade micros, just need the adaptor lead for the mcpx. I believe a stock BNF mcpx charger has one of them, so you'll only need 3 more if you intend to charge 4 mcpx Lipos at once. The adaptor leads don't cost more than a few bucks I believe.

That's what I do.

Cheapest solution, because you may already have it.

Thanks for the tip! I did not know that. I am upgrading my whole charging setup, but that could be a great option for travel when I don't want to lug my dual Dell PSU with me.

Can the 4-port Celectra 0.3A charger be used with B450 3d batteries (3S 2200mAh 30C)? Without damaging the batteries or shortening their life of course.

How about the Celectra variable rate charger (comes with the mCPX)? Can it be used with B450 3d batteries?

No, unfortunately the 450 3D is 3S. The celectra 4-port thing only charges 1S batteries.

Quite a few people would call a 450 a micro, so from that point of view, my earlier statement in this thread of this charger being capable of charging all blade micros is wrong.

Thanks for the clarification. I do think of the mCPX as a micro. That---and not knowing that much about batteries---threw me off.

I'm saving up for a B450 3d so I'm making a list of what I need.
