Yeah Im looking to just jump to a 12s power system and motor, then when the time is right move it all over to a 700 chassis. Eyeballed the 12s thread a few times. Just want to get it right the first time so I can use it on the larger bird. I do not throw it around by any means so I have to take into account the guys who flog their birds around wont be how I fly.

Going with a LiFe battery pack, I just cant trust more electronics.

Although Im going to scrap the 600 and move up to a 700 I know how Im going to setup

Anyone needs a 600 frame, head, blades, motor, and esc I will be selling it soon to fund my 700. Only things it will be missing are servos and receiver/gyro

yep 2s life pack works perfectly. I used to run a 2s lipo with the align bec and someone told me they aren't very reliable so instead of a beefier bec I just use straight life. Less things to go wrong. I can get about 4 flights out of a 1450mah pack. Run a lead to your receiver and one to your fbl unit as it can divide up some of the amp load instead of all the amp draw on one lead.

Yup going to run a few leads from it. Cant wait to get it all amped up. Going 12s as well. I was going to sell the airframe and electronics and jump to a 700 but a 600 with extra juice sounds more fun. I went with a 2100 mah life, although oversized it will do its job.

This is what I am using on my T600 Pro and have had no issues with it in over 3 years. You can set it for 6v, and just tie it to your pos and neg wires/connectors off your ESC. It's not cheap but it will be less than one major crash rebuild.

I would also recommend using a Deans or an EC3 if you run the 2s lipo. The JST just doesn't carry enough current. With either the Deans or the EC3, you can solder both of your output leads into the connector and not just have everything going through a one wire output to a "Y". Much better setup going through the connector.
