I hear what you're saying but it would be nice if they can have a built in receiver like the new vbar which makes the installation soooo clean. One flybarless, receiver, and no remote sensor all in one. Combine that with every single adjustment at your fingertips ehhhhh thats appealing.

As for the 3SX, I whole heartedly agree with you. I have 3 in service now, and I'm torn to buy another one, wait for the new one, or try a Vbar Neo / vcontrol package. I hate to mix though. Prefer to familiarize with one system and thats it.

But then they would need to manufacture one for Spektrum, one for Futaba, etc., let alone the different protocols within each for telemetry etc. The new v-bar only works with the new V-bar Tx I believe.

Edit: I haven't used v-bar so this is just my understanding. Or is it the V control Tx works with the v-bar FBL only.

ahhh who cares about all that, the more I patiently fly my 3sx machines and observe and make one change at a time the better its getting I have no interest to change and start again.

I'm keeping my three 3SX units and I need one more from this company for my Urukay. Sooooo any word ??

Not yet. It's on order as I have jeti rather than Vbar control Tx

Sounds like your the perfect candidate to compare and review both units,
the new neo against bd3sx rescue features.

Then after the new bd with the rumored jeti integration finally comes to market, do another comparison.

Most bd users are anxious, hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Bd and Jeti user so doubly anxious.

But I must say that I am so happy with my BDs (and Cortex) right now that it is hard to find what I will really neeed to happen with the new BD. Sometimes we forget that what we have is great and the newer thing is fun but not necessarily all that needed.

But the market always want something new and better (and cheaper) so it goes.

Not that I wouldn't love so see a new BD unit with the same features, hopefully the price will be reasonable.

Funny except for the "reasonably priced" that is not the impression I got reading the Spirit forum for the past 2 weeks.

I wanted to find out about it so I headed over to both forum the one here and the one dedicated in the Spirit forum. I believe they have a few problems too.

I don't know why but it seems that most using the Spirit are flying 600 size and below. May be just a bad read on my part?

Anyway let's not start a BD versus Spirit war anywhere it is always none productive. Just find out like I did and make up your mind either way.

I think $225 is super reasonable for bailout, gov, aluminum, jeti, etc.

I'm flying it on an X7.

My point wasn't to take away from BD, but to say that there are better options then there were a year ago, and looking forward to BD releasing their new iron which should also hit the doesn't exist category.

i bought one spirit unit myself. i sold it a month later. maybe i didn't tune it well. but i myself can't see it on par with bd or vbar. yes, it provides more funtions that bd does not have, especially banking and vibration analysys. and i like them. but imo it has lots of rough edges too. the pc sofware is far less user friendly comparing with vbar/bd/skookum. the tail holding performance, especially on low head speed, is much worse than bd on my gaui x3. self rescue is always at a angel instead of completely vertical. it bluetooth experience on andriod phone is a total hit or miss to me.

i know there are lots of happy spirit costomers out there, which is why i bought it in the first place. it's hardware has lots of potentials. given more time, i think it'll involve into a greate platform. but i'm afraid that it just didn't work that well for me at this moment.
