From what I could figure out from the terrible instruction manual, this P-value has to be set lower if you are using lower RPM values.

Now it doesn't specify what 'lower' RPM values are - which is not very nice of them...

From the manual -

'To realize a smoother RPM control at lower RPM, the P- value [Default 50%] of the ESC is reduced below the point X (adjustable via PROGDISC).'

it can be adjusted if you feel the need but default is already adjusted for low rpm so set it back to default, you'll be ok running under 50% no problem

Thank you Stolla. I will do that then...

Is there anything else I should know about mode 6?

I'm running it with a Pyro 700-52.

no, only thing to keep in check is to make sure you have enough headroom, at the lower percentage of course no problem but at max you need to be sure, usually you may need one size pinion bigger keep in mind mode 6 shows lower rpm at same thr percentage than m4, doesn't matter they give same max so its only a tx thing

Shouldn't be a problem then. I'm not planning to use high headspeeds.

I've also set the helijive spool up time to 16 or 20 seconds - This for the TDR. Would that be OK?

I only ask because I can clearly hear two quick-sounding speed changes in this spool up - Wouldn't want a faster setting to make the heli spin.

Don't worry it won't spin at default, however there is a jump in mode 6 on spoolup, nothing to be concerned about, it's normal and won't spin heli around.

But hopefully this helps you a bit.
Justin how you run the governor via ProgDisk? Does the ProgDisk has a option that you Manually input the RPM?

I also have a Goblin and will like to have a startup point before I tach the heli. So can you please tell me What % you have your tx on each mode and what RPM's are you running beside the 2150?

I get from this thread he should use mode 6 and possibly should use ksa mode afterwards?
