Swapped the autorotation gear but no real change. Maybe a bit tighter fit and it does run more straight but the main gear still wobbles so ill order a new main gear with oneway bearing...

So... Got the new main gear with one way bearing and also new bearings for the the main shaft bearing blocks.

Swapped em all.. Still wobbles a bit. And i just had the main shaft installed, head was off.

Gonna go fly it now. See if the tail wibes are still there, got the new tail unit aswell, i'll change it on the field if the tail still wibes.

If it wibes after that, then i'm done.

That's kind of sad, it seems they are getting consistent in delivering badly made parts

Do not try fitting the new tail in the field (!) it's not a bolt on part - need lots of fiddling to get it acceptable

...at least mine and a few others was

Interestingly my main gear is one of the few parts that was good in my kit,
a little bit out of round - but not too much

Well it flies okay, but the damn wag is still there. It's gotten better though, wierd thing is that on one battery it suddenly stopped wagging for 20secs and then started again...

Did not swap the tail unit, it looked solid though.

Well I had a few good flights on mine...

Although constantly with a bit of wag

I have two sliders, both equally bad.

The pin (6) is a shade under 1.6mm, the hole in the arm (4) is a bit over 1.7mm.
It may not sound like much but it's clearly noticable.

...if there only were enough material to put in a brass sleve one could sort it out,
but where to get a sleeve 0.05mm wallthickness ?

I'm also running the new tail, I got most of the play out - but some remains

Yes, that's where the play has developed in my tail too--at the pin to ball link junction. I ordered two replacements, but just got back in town and I haven't been able to see what kind of shape they are in yet. This time I will be very careful not to let the ball link bend during install and possibly make the holes larger.

The play in mine hasn't developed, it is there right out of the box.

The one I measured is a brand new spare, the one that came with the new tail actually feels worse...(7 flights so far)

Would it be possible to start w. a larger diameter pin, e.g. 2mm, and drill the holes in the arms to fit? Another alternative might be to reduce the diameter of a 2mm pin to fit the existing holes. And last, but not least, would it be possible to use either the pins, or pins & ball link from a different model?

Interesting thought

I got some spares for the mini protos, as that was close in size - didn't work..

But you are right, quickest fix would be cutting new pins from 1.7mm drill blank,
if the holes are consistent that is...

I'm waiting on some parts as I'm planning to go full frankenstein on this one

There's a guy in the Warp thread that modified the new Chase tail for his Warp,
I will try the opposite with some Trex part thrown in

I'm just getting warmed up - fill the holes in the arm & link w. epoxy/jbweld and re-drill them.
