BCRCC Heli Smackdown June 13 2015 Pemberton NJ
Ok after bad weather forced us to cancel last year they club has decided to host another funfly. We are just going to hold a 1 day event on June 13, 2015 this year as everyone has summer plans and cant get away for a whole weekend.
I am hosting a funfly June 13 2015 at my clubs home field in Pemberton NJ. Location- Pemberton Airport Approx Address-198 North Pemberton Road, Pemberton NJ GPS coordinates 39.9820572/-74.6926589 Landing Fee-$10 Food available to purchase on site. Flying site open from 9AM to dusk as per the airport owner no night flying allowed. 3 flight stations will be used with 8 minute flight times enforced to keep everything moving like last year. Please let me know if you are coming so I can plan on having enough food purchased. Every pilot must be an AMA member no exceptions. More information to follow as we get closer. Just thought that now that I have a date I would put it out there. |

Fun fly
Looking forward to this fun fly without having to travel 200 miles and being able to drive 40 minutes. I wish we had more fun flys in NJ. All of the jersey clubs should get together and say we will do 3 fun flys a year 1 north jersey 2 central jersey and 3 south jersey and the clubs should take turns hosting them 70% to charity and 30% to the club for hosting the event or some kind of % to be worked out.hopefully this would bring more people into this wonderful hobby of ours and more members into clubs looking forward to it and not spending all that money on gas and hotel rooms I can buy more nitro and lipos
